How Do We Book Our Event?
Please submit the inquiry form on this site, send us an email, or give a call to our listed phone number. Once we confirm that your requested date is open, we can coordinate the theme of your event, number of guests, drink preferences, and then begin the planning process.
What Services Do You Provide?
We provide our gorgeous vintage mobile horse trailer bar, and set up of standing bar tables for your event. The trailer includes expert bar-tending and mixology services.
Do You Travel?
We are based in North San Luis Obispo County, and are able to travel within San Luis Obispo and SLO County as a whole. Additional distances will incur travel expenses.
Do You Have a Liquor License and Supply the Alcohol
No, we are a dry bar. In accordance with California law, alcohol must be supplied by the event organizer or a third party. We will work with you on the perfect menu for your event, and provide quantity recommendations and a shopping list.
Are You Insured?
Absolutely, we carry liability insurance to protect our hosts and guests in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
What Are The Requirements At The Location For Successful Set-up?
Traveling Sips needs to have enough room to park, and there must be plenty of room for both the truck and trailer to pull through and/or turn around. Level and flat ground is preferred. A clear space of around 20 feet in length is ideal.
It is also preferred that sufficient electricity is provided with a standard 110 plug, but a generator can be used if need be (advanced notice and a small fee required).
Always contact your venue to check their rules on drive-up mobile bars. If permits are needed for Traveling Sips to be present at the chosen location, it is up to the client to provide the permit.
What Are Your Payment and Cancellation Policies
We require a 50% deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining payment is due by the event date. Refunds are provided if you cancel 90 days from your event date and 50% of the deposit if you cancel more than 60 days from your event. Since our seasons book in advance, it’s hard to fill late cancellations so, unfortunately, cancellations made within 60 days of your event will not be refunded
Do You Have a Rain Cancellation Policy
We never want mother nature to ruin a good party but unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cancellations due to inclement weather. We will absolutely work with you to try and find options to make it work.
